"Your profession is not what brings home your paycheck. Your profession is what you were put on earth to do... With such passion and such intensity that it becomes spiritual in calling."~Vincent Van Gogh"
A Walk In Nature I enjoy painting and collage work so I thought, Why not combine them. Creating "A Walk In Nature" was magical. Included are bits of moss and bark that my poodle Rosie helped me discover on our afternoon walks...
Destiny's Boundaries
In the wings of the Dove my spirit now soars My eyes open wide no longer deprived Content to rest here in peaceful embrace Gliding toward sunset my dreams all revealed Forever I see You… In Love's Melody Humble and Honest our Souls reach new height Knowing Love heals and paves Our life path My Soul's gentle prayer… Love and Peace prevail
The vow of life To Be to share a sacred love That gives purpose throughout eternity Within the meadows of our soul Our heart's sweet destiny Life defines Within Rose Line Our destiny begins Reflecting in beauty all around Hours spent on dreams that have no end A life of peace where sacred love transcends
The morning dew to kiss the day, a gentle summer's breeze... The songbird’s melodies, a rose for its perfumed embrace... Just so you may know that I care.
I gift to you, a smile to hold inside... For when you’re feeling blue, a reminder that I love... Just so you know That I Am.
What is meant by Inspired, to Inspire, to be Inspirational?
For me they have always meant to capture the wonder that is in each of us, and to give expression in our lives. It is when one's spiritual light shines fourth through a fuller, less guarded channel. It gives us creative freedom to put aside the ordinary so that we might become full of inspiration. To inspire someone is to be God/Creator's beloved light along our life path, wherever it may lead, bringing good into every circumstance.

“Wild and Free – I go my own way…”
The eagle rides the last wind of summer, Gliding down the canyon, as autumn greets its call. Blowing by the river, listening to its legends, Whispered by the meadows where horses graze. Seeing what autumn does to the leaves and butterflies, Hearing ancient melodies and voices, Of those who told of promises and those who told of lies.
A "Single Edition Print" of (Wild and Free) and (There is always Change) was donated to the Montana Wildlife Federation in Helena, Montana for their benefit Auction & Banquet to help efforts to preserve our Wildlife Heritage.
Eagle – Illumination, Spirit, Power, Creation
"Wild and Free – I go my own way" and "There Is Always Change" are watercolor paintings inspired by the lyrics my friend, Mark Geisler shared with me several weeks prior to my daughter, Heather's and my 2003 Camino de Santiago departure. The two poems "Wild and Free – I go my own way" and "I have wandered off course..." were inspired by my transition; after returning home from Spain.
I have wandered off course…
Did I stray… What is this place where I find myself Is it at peace With nothing left to chance
Do I dare attempt to Wipe away my past Savor this moment loving ME more like a melody, I'm a part
Am I complete Veiled so pleasingly Inspired with loveliness Cruelty and the Universe star filled moon lit nights
Angels imprinted YOU Into my Soul eons ago Countless memories left unshared Lonely tear drops fall…
The yellow rose laced in red stands for friendship and love… The man and woman represent equality, an awakening and rebirth… The broken chains represent freedom and release from their fears; as they are about to embark on their together yet separate Souls journey to experience the “Illumination of Conscience.”
Artist's Notes: Calm Before The Storm is the image I envisioned as my friend, Mark described the horses, their and the air's stillness just prior to an August rainstorm.
Caribou Memory
When memories wander to those peaceful Caribou trails you once shared with the Elk
Where you roped then saddled Darkie a sixteen hand black beauty to ride fence and skillfully herd range cattle
A moose calve staggers, stunned from a Chokecherry bush Riding to its side you touch its soft, brown fur gently grabbing a ear
Its mother charges chasing you through tall pines, down trails until drenched in a salty, white foam sweat Free at last!
Fishing the Jackknife Darkie drinks, as you hook a native Cutthroat Playfully, Darkie snaps the fish from its hook gulping it tail first.
Who ever heard of a fish eating horse?
Reliving moments that occupy our hearts give life precious meaning Memories wandering to carefree days where the sky is always a Cobalt blue.
Title: Mirage Limited edition prints are available:
Artist's Notes: Mirage is what I envisioned as my friend, Mark described this magnificent white horse running through the fields as the sun was setting, a dream image. This handsome white horse comes to an abrupt stop on a small hillside with the setting sun's rays reflections it gave the illusion of a unicorn.
In Conclusion
Through the meadows and the forest I have traveled I have climbed the mountain of life To glance at the world, then descended In conclusion
The leaves lay stagnant on the earth Spare those the maple is keeping To disburse them one by one Scuffing and inching over the surface snow
The dead leaves lie nestled and silent No longer flutter to and from The final lone bloom is gone The breast is still aching to aspire
Humanity perceives it a betrayal To proceed with the tide of circumstance Surrender with grace to the verdict And embrace in conclusion Of a love or a season

You and I
Alike We love, Life, The sweet smell of Lily of the Valley The Cobalt -- Sky The landscape of a hot July When our blood boils over And we laugh through our tears. Life is a beautiful dance And its music, Like bread, Is for everyone. Embraced by the light, United, You reach out to those who struggle for life, Love, Moments, Fresh baked bread and seasons The music of our souls.
May of 1998 my husband, Wayne and I traveled from LA, CA to Oregon along highway 1. Our time spent together at Bodega Bay inspired these lyrics. It was a beautiful holiday!
Sunset On Bodega Bay
Orange poppies, A rocky coastline, Harbor seals, SUNSET ON BODEGA BAY.
Silver trails Of sunlight On the water SUNSET ON BODEGA BAY.
Wind surfers Riding their waves One day in May Just walking along the sand Holding hands Mesmerized by the lovely
Ev'ning spring breeze Boasting of white cranes SUNSET ON BODEGA BAY,
You and me and SUNSET ON BODEGA BAY
"Sunset on Bodega Bay" lyrics written by Eveline Maria Smith c 1998

Tomorrows Tide
Before tomorrows tide rolls in Prepare to Proclaim The fervent account of our age to those who await their birth Anointed with greater generosity Rise above the suffering and pain WHERE Ahead of our Times no longer is laced with anguish and shame Still, Life is a beautiful thing To love the world with both eyes shut Waiting to be born How brilliant Anointing oneself a winner All the while all around you The stillness of Gray February so cold, so dark.

Like The Wind
Everyone lives their life in expanding orbits, which travel around the things of this universe. Perhaps we never conquer the last, but that will be our quest.
Waltzing around higher powers, we circle forgotten relics, dancing through generations.
And we still do not know, if we are Eagles in flight, fallen leaves blowing in the wind, or a great love ballad.
always changing twisting, turning, churning from old life into new thoughts consumed wondering what you think of me two lives united entwined, enchanted, embraced no turning back not able to leave not wanting to go frozen time too late to run to soon to know secrets told carefully adjusting, growing, changing softly night comes i call your name nothing stays the same...
Title: Montana Equinox Limited edition prints are available: Artist's Notes: Seeing the moon during the day is not an uncommon sight in Montana. With the word "equinox" meaning the length of day and night are near equal, I thought it a fitting title.

Petals
Life is a river to be scattered on like the petals of a flower floating by in full view we only see their humble beginning
feeling anxious, fearful and glad we scatter the petals of our flower observing their freedom each one self absorbed uncertain of the river's current
drifting away one by one in a definite direction time passes by leaving them withered and worn though, their sweet smell lingers on…
Title: Poppy Tag Limited edition prints are available: Artist's notes: When I was a little girl in Germany I would love to run amongst the field poppies. I want to share a couple of poems inspired by a couple of my early childhood memories.

Title: Family Love Limited edition prints are available:
Artist's Notes: Creating a universal image of happy children and their mom at play while picking daisies was a wonderful soul moment for me. While creating it I did a great deal of reflecting on the importance of healing our communities, and ourselves uniting for world peace and healing our planet. Because we are all souls and we are all connected it behooves us as individuals and society as a whole to acknowledge the worth of and to respect every human being, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, nationality and religion.
In 2010 this image was featured in Literacyhead E-Magazine that is a wonderful tool for teachers so if you know of any teachers please help create awareness of www.literacyhead.com. Jamie placed Family Play in the Write Starts feature of the third issue, whose theme is Economy of Words. This is where teachers are given 5 to 6 images to show students as writing prompts. Each image usually reflects the theme (Economy of Words.) "We feel that your image is very relatable and, therefore, will serve as a great writing prompt. Also, there is a simplicity in the image (white background) that fits the Economy of Words theme."
The original named "Family Play" was donated to Pondera History Association in Conrad, Montana for their auction benefit to help build Pondera Heritage and Cultural Center.
Memories
Memories are images reflections of the years, moments never failing of our laughter and our tears. Photos in an album captured unaware, or a lock of baby's hair.
Memories that linger in the corners of our mind moments we cherished, once upon a time.
