What is Shamballa?

Our souls are seekers of truth; sensing and aware of the spiritual transformation unfolding with purpose and knowing. To create harmony within the human experience is to find Shambhala. To find Shambhala one must raise their conscious awareness to heal issues which allows one to come into balance on all levels of awareness; mental, emotional, physical and spiritual.

Shamballa is channeled from the ascended master St. Germain and "Shamballa" is an extension of the Reiki energy of Love. In receiving Reiki/Shamballa energy healing the energy is channeled into the body to clear blockages so that healing takes place in the four bodies; mental, emotional, spiritual and physical. Shambhala/Shamballa is a journey in Self Discovery and is the energy of Unconditional Love.

Connecting with an ascended master is a source we tap into when we want to trigger that higher knowledge within us. We search by sound, light and color then connect to that 'master' by frequency.

Human history has always had its god and goddess created reality to guide its evolution from higher spiritual entities called 'Ascended Masters.' Who after many incarnations and life experiences, have mastered the lessons of the physical realm which is about balance and the games of emotions and then ascend to higher consciousness of thought and light. These individuals who have reached a higher state of spiritual awareness and placed themselves in service to humanity and planet Earth in its ascension process as mass consciousness evolves to its nature state of being.

In some versions of the doctrine, the ascended masters, as a collegiate body, are the "Great White Brotherhood," white referring to advanced spirituality rather than race - very much like "Gandalf the White" after his victory over the Balrog in The Lord of the Rings. In fact, most early reports of the masters described them as racially Tibetan or Hindi, not Anglo. Belief in the Brotherhood and the masters is an essential part of the syncretistic teachings. Various important spiritual leaders such as Jesus, the Prophet Muhammad, the Virgin Mary, and Kuan Yin the compassionate bodhisattva, take their seats alongside magical or alchemical personalities like the Count of St. Germain, and other mystic celebrities like Kuthumi. All of these leaders have put aside any differences they might have had in their Earthly careers, and unite instead to improve the spiritual well-being of the human race. These ascended masters live in realities of higher frequency of light. Shambhala is the name given to one of these places. Many cultures have legends about the place of their gods and teachers such as Mount Olympus in ancient Greek mythology.

Generally Shambhala is linked with teachers from the ancient city of Tibet a place of great spiritual learning. It is from this land that many in human form have supposed ascended to the realms of the great teachers of wisdom and sacred knowledge where one can go to come away with knowledge of the higher realms and the nature of our reality.

On Relationships: It is my experience and observation the main focus in 'Life' is relationships. Each day we interact in some way or form with family, co-workers, acquaintances, strangers, friends and lovers.

In being 'Open' the heart naturally opens to life in gratitude and love.  All these positive energies tend to attract a variety of people into our lives, at times, all at once. This natural passion and whatever one’s individual perception of romance is need not be linked.

Artists by nature are passionate beings.  In feeding our creativity we allow ourselves a deeper, fuller experience of all that life is.  Relationships needn’t be confusing.  There is nothing to figure out.  There simply is accepting and embracing their individuality and letting them naturally evolve …just as the wild rose grows free in the dark wood is amazingly beautiful in being 'Open.'

Neither Life nor Relationships come with a guarantee and there is always 'Free Will' therefore, it is of the utmost importance to accept, love and nurture the primary relationship... that being with 'Self.' To shift emphasis from others to yourself may feel selfish…even a betrayal. I remember reading somewhere, "The first step in healing external relationships is healing the relationship between your inner male and female." The energies of both sexes are present within each of us. Acknowledging this inner duality and taking time to heal the inner 'Self' relationship creates a positive affect on all of our outer relationships. And it is through these relationships that we experience the opportunities for personal growth and healing… in this process we are gaining a more complete knowing of the true 'Self.'

Relationships in responsible freedom are stepping forward open in a higher state of harmony fully committed to love and positive energy. Doing so requires letting go of all the pre conceived notions in conditioning of what being in love… a marriage… a family is suppose 'to be' or 'look like.' It is accepting the difference; free of judgment and in compassion. I believe this new way of being truly is unconditional love in action and in motion! Our connections; people, friendships, intimacy and love it all really is so very beautiful.

Relationships, specifically relationships between lovers, are one of the most fulfilling as well as challenging aspects of human existence. Ladies and Gents please view "Self Love" by Shara Gardner: http://www.consciousone.com/friend/index.cfm?PID=106

"Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable."—C.S. Lewis

One of my favorite artists, Sulamith Wülfing captures the many different elements of life and relationships in Lovers Oracle, Fairy Oracle and Angel Oracle with her visionary art and philosophy of life quotes such as:

"Pure love is like the perfume of the rose, given to all. The sun does not care upon whom it shines… The quality of true love, of pure love, knows no such distinctions as wife or husband, son or daughter, father or mother. Love sets you free - not thinking. We only see truly with our heart so if your heart and your mind lead you in different directions, follow your heart. Pure love is the willingness to give, without any thought to receiving in return."

"The love from the soul is wholly without condemnation; it sees imperfection but because of what it sees, more love flows."

"Each of us is an angel with only one wing. We can only fly by embracing one another."

"The love we have is God’s gift to us, what we do with it is our gift to God."

 What is Tantra?

Dyana Sangraal forwarded her note from Lisa Schrader to me announcing Oprah's re-run "Sacred Loving and Tantra" featuring Lisa Schrader and Rick Schlussel as one of Oprah's guests. I made a point to tune in and after the show I visited Lisa and Rick's website and purchased their e-book. "How to Get Started With Tantra." The following postings: "What is Tantra?" and "A Prayer" are re-printed by permission. For more information on Tantric Sexuality please visit Lisa and Rick's website www.awakeningshakti.com

"Tantra" means many things to many people. It is an eclectic community that defies categorizing. Tantra is an ancient spiritual practice, handed down through the oral tradition for thousands of years prior to being written. Tantric writings began about 2,000 years ago and were often shared as dialogue between the God, Shiva, and the Goddess, Shakti. Ancient Tantrics believed that the world was created through there erotic union. Although often described symbolically as masculine and feminine, Shiva represents the universal "Pure consciousness" and Shakti is the animating force of "pure energy."

Tantra was born in India as a rebellion against the strict, moralistic codes of the Hindu religion. Tantric practices, however, can be found in most ancient cultures including Native American and Taoist traditions. While the West fixates on the sexual aspects of Tantra, it is actually a broad spiritual discipline that includes sexuality as just one of its many practices. Tantra teaches that you can have direct experience of the Divine; you do not need to go through anyone or anything. The energy and pleasure to be found in your body are your gateway to enlightenment.

Honoring, Celebrating Differences

In Tantra, life is seen as a glorious dance between the masculine and the feminine. There is a fundamental equality and oneness between them. Differences are celebrated and honored. Tantra means "weaving" and also "expansion." It's like a continuous thread weaving through each of us. It also respects the individual textures and colors that make up the whole tapestry.

Expanding the Definition of Sex

Tantric sex isn't an "event" or an "action" but an expanding experience of love and flowing energy. Westerners can get frustrated with Tantra because they strive to achieve ecstasy through will power, control and goal orientation. Tantra is more about riding the waves, creating intense experiences, followed by surrender, relaxing and letting go. Ecstasy is a gift, something that happens to you. You cannot force it to happen but you can prepare the conditions for it to occur.

Dawn of a New Age

Ancient Tantric texts describe our time as the end of the Kali Yuga, or Age of Darkness, a period which began 2,000 years ago. The Kali Yuga was a time marked by corruption, aggression and difficulty. It's been widely written that the last few hundred years have been the bloodiest and most destructive in all history. It has been a time when feminine energy has been suppressed and denigrated. Shakti has been slumbering.

The new millennium ushers in the period known as the Satya Yuga, the Age of Truth, where the goddess begins to awaken and her embers glow again. It is said that when the feminine energy awakens and women release their enormous orgasmic energy in the world, we will have attained the New Age. It is energy of the heart, intuition, creation, opening, receiving, and nurturing. Both men and women are reclaiming their feminine energy, bringing it into balance with the gifts of the masculine.

A Prayer by Lisa and Rick
May we know and embrace the
Divinity within so that we may
also recognize it in others. May
we know oneness and unity. May
our sexual energy, the energy that
creates life itself, be a source of pleasure
and joy. May it open our hearts and enable us
to surrender completely to love. We give thanks for
the abundance in our lives and for the privilege of
being alive at this transformational time on the
planet. May a prayer for peace, love and Divine
connection move out into the world with our
every embrace, kiss, and act of lovemaking.
